Rick and Marge Sutter

C7 Crystal Red 2015 Z51 Coupe

Is this your first Corvette? Previously had a 2007 Monterey Metallic Red Coupe.

What first attracted you to Corvettes? When was that or how old were you? I first fell in love with a 1969 Corvette in 1969 when I was 17 and it took me 47 longs years before I realized my dream. Thought I had died and gone to heaven. That was until I purchased my 2015 and it only gets better.

How did you come to acquire this Corvette? When I finally decided to purchase my first Corvette in 2006, Marge told me that since I had wanted a Corvette for so long just get what I wanted. I asked her what color she liked and she said a blue toned red (not orange toned). She then went to Raley's and when she came back in 30 minutes I told her I had found one and it was ours within two hours. My second corvette, a 2015 Stingray, was just a simle trip to Performance Chevrolet.

What modifications, if any, have you done to this car? 10 spoke wheels with Michelin Pilot Sports.

What modifications, if any, do you have planned for this car? Clear Bra and tinted windows.

What do you like best about Corvettes? First and foremost it was responsible for Marge and I joining the River City Corvette Club. And second but by all means not least, the Corvette looks great and is fun to drive.

How long have you been members of RCCC? Nine Years.

What offices have you held or runs you've put on?Board member, President - 2010, Vice President – 2009, Treasurer – 2007, 2008 and 2015.

Two Napa wine runs, Reno Auto Museum run, Danville Black Hauk Museum run, Twilight Catamaran ride on Lake Tahoe and for the past several years co sponsored runs to Rouge River and Fort Bragg.

What do you like about RCCC?The many friendships we have made with club members over the past nine years, plus the friends with members of other clubs through being the RCCC representative for the WSCC. We enjoy the runs and camaraderie with our fellow members at the club and on runs and events.
