Mary Powell and George Serrecchia

2006 Lemans Blue Coupe

Is this your first Corvette? If not, list previous years, styles, and colors:  This is my third Corvette.  My first two were a 976 Dark Brown T Top and a 2004 50th Anniversary Edition C5 Coup Lemans Blue/ Stick Shift

What first attracted you to Corvettes? When was that or how old were you? They are the sharpest looking sports car on the road. I was 25 when I first became a Corvette owner.

How did you come to acquire this Corvette? Bought this one from Val. She drove it to my house one afternoon and I told her I wanted it.  So she arranged for the sale.

What modifications, if any, have you done to this car?   None

What modifications, if any, do you have planned for this car?  None

What do you like best about Corvettes?  Classy roadster style looks beautiful!  The Corvette will do what I want it to do, when I want it to do it – Incredible performance.

How long have you been members of RCCC?
I joined in 2004; and George joined me in 2010

What offices have you held or runs you've put on?
No offices held.  Mary has been part of support staff on some events.

What do you like about RCCC?
Love the fun people, the runs and the social events.  We especially like the fact that we are not just a Show and Shine Club.

What other interesting facts might others enjoy knowing about you? (Occupation, hobbies, family, recent vacation, etc. Feel free to add any other interesting Corvette related story.):

We love to travel and we love to dance.

Members of RCCC were directly responsible for our getting together.

George ran a management consulting firm for 5 years at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.  The main offering was a 3-day Course which included driving on centerpiece 1.5 mile track which hosts an annual NASCAR Sprint Cup race every March.
