Current Corvettes: 1958 Roadster. Black top over Panama Yellow with Snowcrest coves and charcoal interior. 2007 Atomic Orange Convertible in Indy 500 paint scheme.

Previous Corvettes: The 58 was our first one.

What first attracted you to Corvettes? When was that or how old were you? All the chrome. Sportscar.

How was this Corvette acquired? James bought it for Brenda in October, 1982.

Modifications: 58-Complete restoration. 07-None.

What do you like best about Corvettes? Style and lots of fun to drive.

How long have you been a member of RCC? On and off since November, 1982.

What offices have you held or runs you've put on? Brenda was Treasurer two times, Raffle chair four times, Phone tree 6-8 years. Major runs, Fort Bragg tours, all Holiday Club parties, many car shows and high school homecomings. James was a Past President of RCC.

What do you like about RCC? Sociable people and lots of fun; very friendly, all around good people.

Other Facts: James bought the 1958 Vette for Brenda in October 1982. It was in boxes and they restored it to original stock. They did 95% of the work themselves. Hand sanded and put original paint. All codes and part numbers match. They did all this by using original parts manuals and original assembly manuals. It was a lot of hard work but lots of fun. In the car show circuit, it took 1st place at all events in their class: "Street Driven Stock".
