What first attracted you to Corvettes? When was that or how old were you? Joan was attracted to Tom. Tom has been nuts about cars since he was born.

How was this Corvette acquired? Purchased from Performance Chevrolet. Kevin gave us a deal.

Modifications: Installed drilled and slotted rotors and ceramic brakes.

Modifications Planned: None.

What do you like best about Corvettes? We like the styling, the way they take the twisty turning roads, and the Corvette club that comes with them.

How long have you been a member of RCC? Tom has been a member since 1983. I joined in 1995 when I met Tom.

What offices have you held or runs you've put on? Joan: have been secretary twice, President once, and done the newsletter. Joan: now serve on the Board of Directors. Tom has been on the call around forever. We have put on the Fort Bragg run for years, Daffodil Hill, Picnic and Photo Day in the Park, Murphy’s Run, Bodega Bay Run, and worked at the Crab Feeds.

What do you like about RCC? The People! We take lots of short trips together. We eat drink and party together. Tom likes winning the raffle prizes particularly at Christmas Time.

Other Facts: We are both retired. Tom is active at the California Automobile Museum. Tom also enjoys his model railroading. I am an active Gardener. I am learning how to be a better photographer. I enjoy being a Grandma to my two Grand Kids. We enjoy taking long scenic drives in our Corvette.

When Tom and I started dating, we discussed buying a motor home. We decided that we would enjoy driving the back roads in a Corvette instead. When we got married in our backyard, we had Corvettes as our backdrop. We have found some twisty roads across this country. We recently completed a 21 day trip to Wisconsin and back. America is a magnificent country with friendly people.
