What first attracted you to Corvettes? When was that or how old were you? Friend in college had one and would let me ride along.

How was this Corvette acquired? Saw it sitting on a dealer lot. It was now or never as the prices were going up faster than my "car account". It is a 50 year old dream.

Modifications: Made it look like a Z06. Have added a nav system and XM radio, and Jack Harris installed a CB radio.

What do you like best about Corvettes?  The handling, Looks , overall appearance and performance.

Modifications Planned: None

How long have you been members of RCC?  Little over 3 years.

What offices have you held or runs you've put on? None yet.

What do you like about RCC? The interaction with other members.

Other Facts: Now both retired, I spent over 50 years in radio and television. Over 35 of those years was with the NBC station here in Sacramento. I was a DJ in radio for 10 years starting out in a small station during my senior year in high school with an all request show on Saturday nights. At KCRA, I did everything from directing new programs to doing football games and even Gov. Reagan's midnight inauguration at the State Capital. I enjoy a game of golf and we both have covered well over 200,000 miles on our Goldwing motorcycle going to Key West by way of Maine. Now it's a toss up between the trike or the corvette whenever we go for a ride. Karen is a former State employee working for State Fund. She raised 3 sons who have spread their wings to different parts of the US. We both have enjoyed Corvette rides to the different wineries, Fort Bragg and this year will be going to Grants Pass and ride the Jet Boats.
