Terrie Hunt's 2003 50th Anniversary Edition Convertible

Name: Terrie Hunt

Corvette: 2003 50th Anniversary Edition Convertible

Previous Corvettes: No!! My first Corvette was a bright yellow 1969 Stingray. It was stolen from my apartment complex in 1974. I heard it start and watched the tail lights disappear. That was a tough day for me!! The C.H.P. found it two years later and it was a mess!! I cried a lot but did not want it back. My second Corvette was a 1978-25th Anniversary edition. I sold it in 1996. My third Corvette was a 1976 Buckskin color, it was ugly-I sold it. My fourth Corvette was a 1989, Chocolate Brown (Charcoal Metallic Gray). I sold it last year when I bought the 2003 Anniversary Edition (which I love very much!!).

What first attracted you to corvettes? There was a beautiful red early 60's parked at a gas station in the community where I grew up. I would walk by it on my way home from school everyday and look in the windows. The guy who owned it would yell at me about once a week to get away from his car!!!!

How did you come to acquire this one? I had been admiring the new Corvettes and decided to reward myself for exceeding several personal goals in the last few years.

What modifications were done to this car? None

What modifications are planned for this car? I intend to keep it stock.

What do you like best about corvettes? It's the original American Sports Car. I love the camaraderie of the club members.

How long have you been members of RCC? I am one of the 3 remaining original/charter members.

What offices have you held or runs you've put on?  I have been the Newsletter editor, vice president, chaired numerous runs and co-chaired the Fort Bragg Tours with attracted cars from all over the Western United States.  I am a Founder of a local charity event which feeds and provides toys for over 200 needy families each year at Christmas.

What do you like about RCC? Everything!! Great folks, super runs and we never lack for food, drink or fun!!!  HaHaHa!!!

What other interesting facts might others enjoy knowing about you?  I am blessed to be a successful real estate agent.  I am a Life Member of the Sacramento Association of Realtors Master Club (top 10% of agents in the area).  I love assisting my clients with their real estate needs. I am fortunate to have both of my parents still alive and living in the area.
